About the App
What is My Baby Growth Charts?
My Baby Growth Charts is an iPhone/iPad app for parents and healthcare professionals to track the growth of one or more babies by comparing their measurements with the typical growth patterns established by the World Health Organization (WHO).
What can I track?
The app allows you to track and compare your baby’s growth using WHO standard growth charts for:
- Weight-for-age - How your baby’s weight compares over time
- Length-for-age - How your baby’s height/length compares over time
- Weight-for-length - The relationship between weight and height
Using the App
How do I add a new baby?
Open the app and tap the “+” button to add a new baby profile. Enter the baby’s name, birth date, and gender.
How do I record measurements?
- Select the baby from your list
- Tap “Add Measurement”
- Enter the date, weight, and/or length
- Optionally add notes about the measurement
- Save the measurement
The app will automatically plot the data on the appropriate WHO growth charts.
How do I read the growth charts?
The colored bands on the charts represent percentiles from WHO growth standards. For example:
- On the 50th percentile - Right in the middle of typical growth
- Between the 15th-85th percentiles - Normal range for most babies

Can I track multiple children?
Yes! You can create separate profiles for multiple babies and switch between them.
Can I add notes to measurements?
Yes, each measurement can include optional notes (e.g., “After illness” or “Doctor visit”).
Data & Privacy
Where is my data stored?
All data is stored locally on your device and synchronized between your devices using your own iCloud account. The app does not send any information to external servers.
Is my baby’s information private?
Yes, all information remains on your device and in your personal iCloud account, and is not shared with anyone.
